"The Canadian Grand Prix will be held in Montreal for another decade under an agreement to be reached soon with the Formula One race organizers, Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre said. "Sleep tight, it will be there next year," Coderre said in an interview Monday at Bloomberg News headquarters in New York. "We are in the weeks to sign. We just need to make sure that everything" is in place, he said.

I remember when the Montreal GP was replaced with another race in 2009, I often go for the qualifications, as there are other races there too, including CTCC, Ferrari Challenge, and Porsche Cup and Formula Fords.

While the track is not THAT great (according to numerous drivers), the weekend (from a spectator point of view) is amazing. legion of car fans comes to Montreal to see the race.
